This gem of a coffee is fruity and clean. It makes me see purple and red. Reminds me of strawberry, blueberry and hibiscus.
This is one of the best naturally processed coffees I have ever tasted. Super fruity but not fermented. Sweet but also articulate. Clean enough to taste the gesha variety through the processing.
Hacienda La Esmeralda is probably the most well known farm in the world. It is recognized as the farm where the gesha variety was discovered.
Since then Esmeralda has become one of the top producers of coffee selling lots for record prices and pushing the boundaries of cultivation.
From Hacienda La Esmeralda:
Buenos Aires 6 NB was harvested on March 22nd, 2024 from the Buenos Aires lot in Hacienda La Esmeralda's Jaramillo farm.
After harvest, this microlot was slow-dried for 26 days in raised beds. Buenos Aires 6 NB has notes of jasmine, peaches, tamarind and honey.
