This gem of a coffee is bright and juicy. It makes me see orange with yellow, green and pink stripes. Reminds me of orange, cane sugar and pink grapefruit.
From the Importer:
This coffee undergoes processing at Ndimi Factory, overseen by the Inoi Farmers’ Cooperative Society, which comprises 540 active farmer members. The factory derives its name from the local area where its washing station is situated.
Located between 1650-1800 meters above sea level, Ndimi Factory is nestled at the base of Mount Kenya, near the town of Kerugoya in Kirinyaga County. Kirinyaga County is approximately 192 kilometers northeast of Nairobi and shares boundaries with Nyeri and Embu Counties.
The region boasts ideal conditions for coffee cultivation, including mineral-rich red volcanic loam soils and the high altitudes typical of the area. The western part of Kirinyaga is renowned for having some of the most fertile soils in the country.
