Immersion brewing is easy and repeatable and the Clever Dripper is a wiz at immersion brewing. Just add water and coffee and wait. Release the brew by placing the dripper on a decanter or cup and voila! Simple, quick and provides the same quality cup every single time.
We here at STC have switched to immersion brewing for all these reasons and one more that is of the utmost importance. This is to be able to provide our customers with a recipe that they can use at home ensuring a perfect cup of coffee.
We recommend using a 16:1 water:coffee ratio with hot, hot water above 208*F. Add the water first then mix in your coffee. Release the coffee at 2-2:30min and your total brew time should be between 2:30-3:30 minutes.
