Panama, Hacienda Esmeralda

This gem of a coffee is fruity and sweet. It makes me see lots of different tones of red. Reminds me of red currant, cherry and raspberry.

Hacienda La Esmeralda is probably the most well known farm in the world. It is recognized as the farm where the gesha variety was discovered.

Since then Esmeralda has become one of the top producers of coffee selling lots for record prices and pushing the boundaries of cultivation.
